The memory foam feel you came in for. Deep, cool pressure relief.
You know the feel you are after. That slow, contouring cradle that lifts the pressure off your shoulders and hips and still keeps the rest of you supported. That is what the Luna is built to do, in three real comfort choices: Firm, Medium and Plush. Designed in Saskatchewan, made in Canada, and we are proud of this one. Come lie on all three and let your body pick.

Kicking the covers off at 2am?
That is a materials problem, not a colour problem. The Luna’s quilted knit top is breathable, so you get comfort that does not hold onto the night’s heat. And if you run really warm, say so when you come in. Your sleep consultant will put you on the Luna and on our cooling beds back to back, so you can feel for yourself which one actually fixes it.

Each Luna is compressed, rolled and boxed, so it’s easy to get up stairs and through narrow halls.
Old-school memory foam had a reputation for holding heat. The Luna’s comfort layer is gel-infused to help draw heat away from you, under a breathable black knit cover. And if you run really warm, tell us in store and we’ll match the feel and the bedding to you.

Firm suits back and stomach sleepers who want steady support with gentle pressure relief. Medium is balanced cushioning that works for most sleep positions and it is the feel most guests choose. Plush gives deeper cushioning at the shoulders and hips if you sleep on your side. Not sure? Visit any of our six Saskatchewan stores and our sleep consultants will match you in about 30 minutes.
The Luna is our gel-infused memory foam bed, and you actually get to choose the feel. Firm, Medium and Plush each carry their own memory foam, it is made in Canada, and a Queen is $1,298. The Modern is our entry all-foam bed with one balanced feel, and the Studio and Classic are our pocket coil beds. Try them side by side in store.
Colour does not decide sleep temperature. Materials do. The Luna’s comfort layer is gel-infused memory foam, made to help draw heat away from you, under a breathable knit cover. If you run very warm, tell us in store and we’ll match the feel and the bedding to you.
We are not going to tell you the Luna is the same bed as any national brand. What we will tell you is this: the Luna is a premium memory-foam mattress with three comfort choices, made in Canada, at $1,298 for a Queen. It is the premium memory foam feel you are looking for, without paying primarily for the name on the label. Lie on it at any of our six Saskatchewan stores and judge it for yourself.
You can try the Luna at Modern Mattress locations across Saskatchewan: Saskatoon North (601 51st St E), Saskatoon Rosewood (3020 Meadows Parkway), Regina Prince of Wales (2030 Prince of Wales Dr), Modern Mattress Regina Outlet (4123 Rochdale Blvd), Moose Jaw (27b McKenzie Ln), and Yorkton (12B Livingstone Street). Walk in Mon-Wed 10am-6pm, Thu-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 10am-6pm or Sun 11am-5pm - no appointment needed. As a new collection, call ahead to confirm it is on the floor at your store.
Luna ships boxed, free to your door anywhere in Saskatchewan and across Canada (not to Yukon, NWT or Nunavut). In our store cities, you can also choose free front-door delivery by our crew, $59 in-home setup or $99 VIP with old mattress removal. View delivery details.
All-foam construction absorbs movement instead of bouncing it across the bed, and there are no springs to creak. If one of you shifts or gets up early, the motion settles where it starts. That is a big reason light sleepers end up on foam beds.
Most mattress lines change the label; the Luna changes the layer. Firm, Medium, and Plush each carry a different memory foam over the same transition layer and high-density support core, so the feel you pick is built into the bed and not implied by a tag.
All-foam beds like the Luna are quiet, absorb motion well, and give an even, cradling feel. Coil beds like our Studio and Classic offer more bounce and airflow. Neither one is better. It comes down to how you sleep, which is exactly what a 30-minute in-store fitting settles.
Yes. All-foam construction flexes naturally with the base as it moves. The Luna pairs with our Essential, Plus and Pro adjustable bases. Add one right on this page, or compare the bases here.
