Built on a Simple Idea
Mattress shopping was broken. Inflated prices, confusing names, pushy salesfloors. In 2014, Drew Hunt opened one store in Yorkton to do it differently: listen first, price honestly, let you decide.
It worked. Today three local owners, Drew, Kodie, and Jon, run six stores across Saskatchewan with decades of combined experience behind them. Every mattress is designed by us, for Saskatchewan sleepers, and made in Canada.

How many locations does Modern Mattress have?+
We have 6 locations across Saskatchewan. Two in Saskatoon, two in Regina, one in Moose Jaw, and one in Yorkton. All stores are open Monday–Wednesday and Saturday 10am–6pm, Thursday–Friday 10am–8pm, and Sunday 11am–5pm. No appointment needed.
What is the Discovery Experience?+
The Discovery Experience is our guided in-store process where a sleep consultant measures your body, discusses your sleep habits, and matches you to the right mattress and feel. It’s free, takes about 30 minutes, and removes the guesswork from mattress shopping.
Are Modern Mattress products made in Canada?+
Yes. All of our mattresses are proudly made in Canada using quality materials. We’re a locally owned Saskatchewan business committed to supporting Canadian manufacturing.
How does free front-door delivery work?+
Front-door delivery is free within city limits of any of our 6 stores. Want it carried in and set up? Add $59 for in-home setup, or $99 VIP for setup plus old-mattress removal. Outside our store cities but within 100 km, delivery is a flat $99. Beyond that we’ll quote it in store.
