What is an adjustable base?

An adjustable base is a bed frame with a quiet motor inside. It takes the place of your box spring, your mattress sits on top, and a wireless remote lifts the head, the feet, or both. Every base we carry has Zero-G and one-button flat. We carry three: the Essential ($1,498 Queen), the Plus ($1,898 Queen) and the Pro ($2,598 Queen).

Spread over 10 years of nightly use (3,650 nights, the length of the steel-frame warranty), a Queen Essential at $1,498 is about $0.41 a night, the Plus at $1,898 about $0.52, and the Pro at $2,598 about $0.71, before tax. 0% financing for 12 months in store is available through Flexiti, on approved credit, with a one-time $90 admin fee.

All three lift your head and feet, have Zero-G, one-button flat, a wireless remote and a quiet motor. The Plus adds a one-tap Anti-Snore button, saved favourite positions and a 15-minute Yoga cycle on the remote. The Pro also has Anti-Snore and saved positions, and adds lumbar support, pillow tilt, gentle wave vibration, USB charging, under-bed lighting and a phone app over Bluetooth, where you will find its Yoga cycle.

Every mattress we sell works on our adjustable bases. If you already have a mattress, most foam and pocket coil mattresses bend with a base too. Traditional innerspring mattresses with rigid coils are not recommended. Bring the details in and we will check yours.

The base goes where your box spring was. It fits inside most bed frames, or stands on its own legs. Bring your frame measurements to any store and we will confirm the fit.

A lot of people find that lying flat makes snoring worse. The Plus and Pro have a one-tap Anti-Snore button that lifts your head a few degrees. It is a button you press, not something the bed detects. If snoring is a medical concern, or you have been told you may have sleep apnea, talk to your doctor.

Zero-G raises your knees just above your heart so your weight spreads out more evenly. Guests most often describe it as taking the load off their lower back. Every base we carry has a one-button Zero-G preset.

A head-up angle is one of the most common reasons guests ask us about a base. It holds a steady angle all night instead of a stack of pillows that slides out from behind you. It is not a treatment, so if reflux is frequent, talk to your doctor.

Yes. A Split King is two Twin XL bases under one headboard, each with its own remote. You can sit up to read while your partner sleeps flat, or raise just the side of the one who snores.

Front-door delivery is free inside our store cities: Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw and Yorkton. For $59 we carry it in and set it up. For $99 VIP we set it up and take your old mattress away. Outside our store cities? Delivery within 100 km of a store is a flat $99.

Every base has a 10-year warranty: 2 years parts and labour, parts covered for 5 years, and the steel frame for 10 years. In years 3 to 10 the part is covered, service and shipping costs are extra. Keep your receipt. Every base also comes with the 100-night comfort exchange: one in-store exchange per purchase, with a $99 exchange fee.
