Neither is universally better. They fit different shoppers. Endy and Modern Mattress both run a 100-night program and long-term warranty coverage (ours runs up to 10 years by collection, with the Modern 9″ line at 5). Modern Mattress has 6 Saskatchewan stores where you can get fitted in person at one of 6 Saskatchewan stores before you buy; Endy is online-only. Modern Mattress has a full lineup of collections; Endy has two models (Original and Hybrid). Modern Mattress delivers and sets up in your bedroom; Endy ships in a box.
Can I try Endy before buying?
Endy is online-only. There are no Endy retail stores. Some Sleep Country locations now stock Endy mattresses (Endy is owned by Sleep Country), but the experience is different from a dedicated mattress specialist. Modern Mattress lets you lie on every collection in person at any of 6 Saskatchewan locations.
Who owns Endy?
Endy was acquired by Sleep Country Canada in 2018. The mattress is still designed and made in Canada under the Endy brand. Modern Mattress is independently owned, founded in Yorkton, Saskatchewan in 2014, and designs its own lineup.
What’s the price difference between Modern Mattress and Endy?
Our Queen prices run from $597 on the Modern collection up to the Artisan at the top of the range. Every live price sits on its own product page. Endy’s two models generally price below our mid-tier, and we carry premium options they don’t. Prices move on both sides, so check both.
What if I don’t like the mattress after buying?
Modern Mattress: the 100 Night Sleep Guarantee. Sleep on it for up to 100 nights; if the feel isn’t right, come back in and we’ll reselect together: one in-store comfort exchange per purchase, with a $99 exchange fee. Pay the difference if your new pick costs more, or get the difference back if it costs less. It’s an exchange program, not a refund policy (full details). Endy: 100-night trial with pickup return and a refund. Same trial length, different logistics.
Does Endy ship to Saskatchewan?
Yes. Endy ships across Canada including Saskatchewan. There’s no physical Endy retail in the province. If you’d rather try mattresses in person before buying, Modern Mattress has 6 Saskatchewan stores.
